A British citizen, White brings a truly international perspective to his work, having worked in the United Kingdom, United States, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand and Nigeria. His work has recently included major "public positioning" campaigns for both private sector clients and multilateral organizations. n the early 1960’s White founded and ran the Bangkok branch of the (then) leading Australian agency, Jackson Wain. From 1967 to 1970 he worked as a Television Production Supervisor for Procter and Gamble in the United Kingdom, before joining Ogilvy & Mather, for whom he worked as creative director in Nigeria, Sweden and Finland (1970-77). From 1977 until 1997, White worked for Young & Rubicam, initially in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa, office before becoming Creative Director of the Geneva Office in 1985. During this latter period, he created campaigns for a large number of clients including: the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the World Food Programme (WFP), Norsk Hydro, ABB, Dupont, Caterpillar, ITU Telecom, and Chase Manhattan. White left Y & R in 1997 to become an independent creative consultant and copywriter.
